I am selling this exquisite Chinese reverse painted glass snuff bottle with a copper spoon and nephrite stopper. All parts are intact and there are no chips or cracks in the glass. Stopper rests securely in the neck of the bottle; it does not clamp down and is not threaded.
The hand painted scene depicts 3 warriors, 2 on horseback carrying swords or spears. The bottle is made of a tinted heavy green glass, with the design painted on the inside of the bottle.
The snuff spoon is intact and appears to be made of copper. The stopper is a smooth, rounded dark green stone, probably nephrite. A beautiful addition to any Oriental art collection!
